Head Girls Basketball Coach Ed Swogger gave us a heads up on this. WHS student Mikyla Tipton is rated number 7 in Ohio in the Top 20 Two Point Field Goal Shooting by the Ohio Basketball Coaches Assoc. It was announced in the Spring edition of the association's magazine.
Tipton, shown here, has a 61.4% completion from the charity line when shooting two. Out of 298 attempts she hit the bucket 183 times this past season. Toledo Christian 's Bethany Critchley was rated #1 with 75.2%. It's another feather in Tipton's cap that compliments all the other recognition she earned from her play in the 2009-2010 Season.
We think the Lady Tigers will have a very exciting season this coming year. Tipton and her team mates were coming on strong last season toward the end.
