Sunday - 13 June: The 4th Armored Division Historical Group pulled up stakes and shipped out this past Sunday. They wrapped up a two day visit to the River Museum hosted by Wellsville's Historical Society. This was the third year that the group presented their living history exhibit at the museum.
Sunday's visit was high lighted by a personal visit from Hammondsville resident Jake Parson pictured here. Mr. Parson told us he served in WWII with the original 4th Armored Div. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
In the other picture are the six members of the Historical Group that made camp this past week-end on the lawn of the museum. From the left is Gordan Smith, Nick Dauka, Bob Hetman, Neil Halliday and Bob Marmura. Kneeling in front of Halliday is Wellsville resident Tim Gane.
