St. Francis/Chamber Rabies Clinic

Once again, this year, the Wellsville Area Chamber-of-Commerce is sponsoring the good folks of St. Francis Animal Welfare Center's rabies clinic. The clinic will be held next Saturday, June 5 at Holly Development's building in the 1200 block of Main St. That building is the former Sky Bank. The clinic is scheduled to run from noon to 2 P.M.

Community Animal Clinic veterinarians, Doctors Michael & Jennifer Sandy, and their staff will be on hand to administer the inoculations. Vaccinations will be available for dogs and cats. Shots are $10 for each animal.

An added feature this year is Pam Weekley. She will be set up to embroider collars with the pet's name and the owner's phone number. The collars cost a mere $6. Getting the name embroidered on a new collar eliminates the worry of losing an identification tag falling off.

As an extra added bonus Byron Carter will be on hand cooking up some of his world famous, mouth watering BBQ chicken and ribs. Byron's secret is an old Carter family recipe he uses for the sauce. It's to die for and he won't share the recipe. If you fancy some great BBQ you'll want to get some from Byron. It's cooked on a charcoal fire on the spot.

Pictured above is Mr. Carter preparing to cook a few slabs of ribs and the good doctors as seen at last year's clinic. The clinic is sponsored by the Chamber with Mrs. Marge Dysert serving as the Chamber advisor. All proceeds go to the St. Francis Animal Welfare Center.

You can call 330-831-0827 or 330-429-5073 for any questions. There is no limit on the number of pets you can get inoculated.
