Prior to yesterday’s Council meeting Village Administrator
Thom Edgell “modeled” the new mower recently purchase. The mower will replace the cash draining old
one previously used for Hammonds Park.
The tractor is a 2005 Massey Ferguson with only 500 hours on
it. It was purchased from Vernon Dell
for $5,700.
During the Council meeting an ordinance was approved to
transfer $50,000 from the General Fund to the Capital Improvement Fund. When
asked, Finance Committee Chairwoman Diane Dinch noted the transfer was intended
for several items that need attention.
Several of them, such as this newer, dependable mower, have been
neglected in times past due the lack of funds available.
