Monday - August 9: While getting our pre-season football fix this past Monday we stopped by Nicholson Stadium to catch some of the action. Our first stop was to watch a little of the Wellsville Junior Tigers Football going through the paces.
Shown here is Jr. Tiger Head Coach Randy Thrasher & Coach Lonnie Fields facing the camera and calling the plays with the offense doing a pretty good job running them.
We witnessed some nice cuts with the running backs hitting the holes right on cue. For a Junior Hi team we also saw some nice "beef" holding down the line making those holes. Barring injuries we think the Junior Hi team is going to very good this year.
Skinner must be excited about these fellows moving up in the years to come.
