Wellsville Italian-American Festival Day 2

Friday - August 6: Day 2 of the 14th Annual Italian-American Festival sponsored by Wellsville's SOI Lodge 657 was another enjoyable, fun filled evening. There was great musical entertainment that opened with the Pittsburgh area band called Five Guys Named Moe. They were followed by the Wellsville area band Route 45. Between the two they filled up the streets and both bands had them singing along and dancing in the street.

They had a good crowd at Thursday's opener and Friday brought even more. There were many from the Wellsville area, the county, from all parts of the state and even some folks from distant parts of the country. We saw folks we haven't seen since last year's festival and folks we haven't seen for years. Just about everywhere you looked folks were greeting old friends, enjoying the food and catching up with each other.

The two collages shown above were all from Friday. You can click on either picture to enlarge for a better look. Enjoy... There may be some folks in them you haven't seen for awhile.
