Wednesday - March 31: The Wellsville High School Athletic Department recognized all the students that participated in winter sports this past season. In a ceremony that was held this past Wednesday in the Auditeria cheerleaders, wrestlers and basketball players were awarded Varsity letters and certificates for their hard work and participation.
Steve Creaturo served as Master-of-Ceremonies. Principal Linda Rolley and the coaches presented the awards to the athletes that were in attendance.
We would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all the athletes that gave us some exciting moments for us this year. We learned a lot this past winter season, even a little about wrestling!
Thanks also to Mrs. Rolley, Athletic Directer Don Elliott and all the coaches that never failed to make us feel welcome at the events. With their kindness we were able to get thousands of pictures to pick out a few to go along with the posts.
The Tigers have a wealth of athletic talent. We're already looking forward to next year.
