First Baptist Men's Prayer Breakfast

Saturday - April 3: The first Saturday of every month the Deacons of Wellsville's First Baptist family host a Men's Prayer Breakfast. It's open to the public and is an excellent opportunity to network with our friends and neighbors. With snow, church schedule conflicts and the New Years holiday last Saturday was the first opportunity to hold the breakfast this year. Each month the Deacons invite a guest speaker. Last Saturday Mayor Joe Surace was suppose to speak but he was under the weather.

Pictured above is Village Administrator Jim Saracco addressing all that attended the breakfast. Jim is a regular at the Men's Prayer Breakfast and filled in for the Mayor. He shared his knowledge of the State of the Village with the various projects being planned and other Village news. Jim did a nice job for a spare of the moment notice.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Deacons for their hospitality. Mark the date on your calendar. The next breakfast is scheduled for Saturaday, May 1. If you can't afford to drop a donation in the bucket the breakfast is on them. The bucket just sits there. No one makes mention of it. Share a prayer and enjoy the fellowship and good food. You'll be glad you did.

Hope you're feeling better Mr. Mayor...
