Busy Day Tomorrow For Santa In Wellsville

Tomorrow, Saturday, December 12, is going to be a busy one for Santa in the Village. He's going to be the featured guest at three different events in town.

Saturday morning from 8 - 11 A.M. the Wellsville Lion's Club will be hosting the jolly old elf for their annual Breakfast With Santa. That will take place in the Social Hall of the Riverside Presbyterian Church. Pictures with Santa will be available for $1 or you can take your own with your camera. Cost of the breakfast is whatever donation you can make.

Later on, from 4 - 6 P.M., Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch and one of Santa's elves will be eating supper at Kat's Kitchen located at 1025 Main Street. You can also get pictures there. The cost is only $5 per sheet. If you bring a donation of non-perishable food you get a 10% discount on the price of your meal.

After supper Santa & Mrs. Claus will be rushing down to Village Hall to take part in the annual Chamber-of-Commerce Christmas Parade. It starts at 6 o'clock and will proceed up Main Street to the 4th Street Square. Santa should have plenty of time. They will be at the tail end of the parade in a horse drawn sleigh. They didn't bring the reindeer on this trip. Once they get to 4th Street Santa will be at the Gazebo to hear any requests for Christmas Day presents. .

When they finish up there we believe it's straight back to the North Pole for a well deserved short rest. Santa still has lots to do with his elves to get ready for the big day. That's only 12 days away.
