According to an article in this morning's MJ the water boil order for Wellsville residents below 3rd St. has been lifted by Buckeye Water District.
Shortly before noon this past Saturday a break in a 14" main waterline between 7th & 8th St. on Commerce was discovered. The break caused water to be shut off to all customers below 3rd St. BWD had to remove and replace nearly 13 feet of pipe to repair that main.
It was shortly before midnight before water was slowly turned back on. A boil order is automatic once a break is repaired for health safety reason. It remains in effect until water samples test it is completely safe.
