The program for this month's Crime Watch meeting on Thursday, October 21, has been changed. The guest speaker for the October meeting will be Mike Sabbato, CC Health Dept. Inspector. Sabbato will be speaking on the ins & outs of his job and explaining the rules and regulations he has to work with. Sabbato is a Wellsville native.
Originally planned for this month was Meet Riot, Wellsville's newest canine officer in the making. Riot is a new pup and not quite ready for prime time. It is hoped he will be ready to be introduced in November. WPD Officer Tony Mancuso is Riot's partner.
From stories we heard from Village officials you will be surprised what the County Health Inspector has to say and you won't want to miss this month's program. The Crime Watch meetings are open to the public. The October 21 meeting is scheduled for 6 P.M. at Wellsville Village Hall. Put it on your calendar and plan to join us.
