The Television Is Still There

A concerned citizen brought up this t.v. at the last council meeting that has been sitting on the sidewalk since, I think, the dawn of time. It is unsightly and the response was that it would be removed. Of course they didn't say when. Guess it wasn't going to be done right away, huh?

Then it could be used as a landmark. "Go down Main Street past the t.v. and turn at the next right.."

Maybe it got lost and was waiting at the store for the owner to return. HAHAHAHAHAH

Gee, it's beautiful. Is that a Sylvania or an RCA? They probably don't want to offend anyone by making them move trash from the sidewalk on main street. They probably think it is the new Wellsville Drive-In. I think it will be getting a business of the month plaque from the chamber soon.

The t.v. is probably a historical item. Or it has asbestos in the tubes and no one wants to be responsible for it because if the epa comes in and checks on it where will it have to be disposised. will you have to wear gloves and masks to take it to wti it is not a matter to be taken lightly. who ever wants the responsibality. good luck and don't let anyone know who you are and where you took it.

I was at the council meeting when the gentleman asked about the T.V. The Mayor and a council member both told Saracco to have the street workers pick it up. Like everything else he is told to do, Saracco does nothing. If Tom Edgell was stil here, he would have had it out of there the next day. But as we all know Saracco is no Tom Edgell. By the way, Saracco is in charge of maintaining the streets, can't you tell. Also the village hall roof project, that has turned into a joke. It is time to get Saracco out of office, he is dead weight and making everybody look bad, including Surace.

Jim shouldn't have even had to have anyone tell him to remove the TV. For crying out loud, do you think he would let that sit in front of his own house. They need to get someone in there who wants to do the job. If I were, him, after it came up, it would have been gone the next morning. Do your job Jim.

The sign on the door says that all deliveries go to Brush Insurance. Maybe the TV was mis-delivered?

We need to encourage more people to run for these offices. All over the country people are wanting change and I don't think it is any different here. People are tired of the dirty streets, busted sidewalks, abandoned buildings, houses and properties that look like hell, laws that are never enforced and always some sorry excuses. Besides the tv look at what was left of the building they tore down next to the laundromat. How long will it be there? They should have been given 30 days to clean it up or pay a fine.
I feel that people want something different and I think we should try to encourage new people with new ideas to seek office, even if that means doing it ourselves.

Jim Resign, Jim Resign, Jim Resign! Everybody Sing! Jim Resign, Jim Resign, Jim Resign! One More Time!

Now have the owner clean that mess by the laundromat. Can we get a picture of that on here Nib? Anyone know who owns that?

I'm more concerned about the crappy sidewalk on which the tv sits. The roads and sidewalks in Wellsville suck. Anyone care?

But I thought you all WANTED Surace back in office...Another person DID run and YOU, the voters, chose not to elect him. You get what you deserve.

Mr. Saracco is out doing something. Are you? He is and has been a driving force for improvement in Wellsville. He does many things and has the good of the village at heart. I imagine he has done more to improve Wellsville than any of the complainers and he was doing it long before he became village administrator.

Wonder if they would care if I leave my old lazyboy up there with the T.V., I don't need it anymore and they'd make a good pair. I'll even leave my remote control caddy with em.

Take a poll of the people at Village Hall. The people who see Saracco in action. They know what he is supposed to do, and what he actually does. He does nothing. What a joke. The Village is in the worst shape it has ever been in. Wellsville is so dirty, people don't even want to come here. Saracco is nothing more than a showboat, and the Village employees know it. You want real answers, ask any Councilman. I have spoke to at least 4 of them, and they said he needs to go. Surace, do the right thing. Revitalization people, take him please, any group in the Village take him, just get the phony crony out of Village Hall. I have been at several Council meetings, when he talks, it is the biggest disgrace that you will ever see. He makes excuses meeting after meeting, after meeting. Nobody understands him, because he talks like a dummy. Council people, Brown, Cataldo, Allmon, Soldano, Goss, and McMahon, the Village residents are BEGGING YOU, BEGGING YOU, BEGGING YOU, PLEASE GET THE FOOL OUT OF THERE.

Hey ole nib, I think "the dawn of time" is a bit exaggerated. That TV wasn't there 25 years ago when I lived in Wellsville! Still love ya though!

Ok, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration. It was there for quite a while though. That's something the proprietor should have taken care of before he sold the building. Maybe he left it as a memorial. Twenty-five years ago that was still a t.v. repair shop.

Glad to see you can remember back that far... :-)
