Birds Over Route 7

While walking along the closed section of Route 7 yesterday we believe this one was eyeing us up for his next meal. He must have thought better of it. He didn't drop down for a closer look. They just floated pass on the air currents.

Kinda neat actually...

Turkey buzzards,
Nib,
Have you ever seen the Eagles?

We thought they were some kind of hawk. Someone better than us will have to tell you what kind or if they are even some kind of hawk.

We were standing right underneath them looking straight up with our zoom lense.

Saw an eagle cruising above route 7 between ELO and wellsville a couple weeks ago on a sunny day. It's white head was distinctive

We heard that eagles were returning to the area. These birds had brown feathers and no white on their heads.

Mature eagles have white heads and white tails. You might have a picture of an immature eagle. Sometimes the juveniles will fly with the mature eagles. I know that there are several nests in our area.
