The Wellsville Elks will hold a benefit pasta dinner this coming Saturday, February 18, for the Randy Drysdale Family. Drysdale hit one of those medical bumps in the road that take you out of the game for awhile. Until recently he was hospitalized in Pittsburgh. We just learned today that he is being transferred to Steubenville to begin rehabilitation. Randy is a Wellsville resident, a member of the WHS Class of 1975, a family man and a devoted father. Right now he can use a little help.
Members of Wellsville Elks Lodge didn't hesitate to step up to the plate to lend a hand as they have done so many times in the past. The dinner is set for this Saturday from 3 to 7 PM. It is open to the public. Take-outs will be available. Along with the dinner they will be having a Chinese Auction and 50/50. Anyone wishing to contribute something for the auction is asked to contact Karenna Tice Harty.

Thanks Nib!!!!! If anyone wishes to reach me they can call (678) 898-5456 (my cell). The outpouring from our wonderful community and business owners has been astonishing. Dinner is actually from 3-7 with the Chinese Auction and 50/50 drawing to follow. We also may have a DJ to play some funky music for us provided by Mike Cook after the drawings as well. Dinner price is $7 for adults and $5 for children 12-under. Dinner includes salad, garlic bread, entree & desert. There will also be complimentary McDonald's sweet tea. Water, pop and bottled tea is available for $1 along with beer & spirits.
If there is anyone unable to attend but would like to make a donation they may do so at CF Bank in Wellsville. A fund has been established and our local folks may just walk in and ask to deposit to the account of Randy Drysdale. If any towners would like to mail a donation they may do so at Randy Drysdale C/O CF Bank P.O. Box 345 Wellsville, OH 43968.
