Here's some pictures of the Jr. Tiger Football team & the Golf Team.
The Golf Team got there last evening straight from a winning match over ITCL rival McDonald. They are now 2 - 4 over all and 2 - 2 in league play. They travel to Western Reserve Wednesday, August 26.
Good luck to all...

While you and I are not competitors, Nib, can't say the same for the Little Tigers and my grandson's team at Beaver Local
His first year playing for school (seventh grade) after four years playing for little Beavers.
Tigers beat them in a scrimmage Saturday...Grrrr...oh wait, that's a tiger kinda sound! What kind of sound does a beaver make...
chomp, chomp, chomp.., LOL
The two teams don't actually play a game, tho, sad to say!
Truth be known I'm a closet Beaver fan! My cousin Patty & her husband, former CC Commissioner Gary Williams, furnished that team with at least one child for what seemed like forever. Their youngest son just graduated this past year. I saw in the Vindicator that one of their twin sons, Jordon, is one of the Beaver coaches this year. Years ago when I was wearing the pads playing Wellsville was one of their two biggest games of the year. The other was EL. It didn't matter if they ended up 2 - 8 on the season if they won those two games they had a "great" year. Now with OHSAA Division ratings they no longer play in the regular season and as you said, JoBob, it's sad to say.
