Thursday - February 25: Wellsville's Mills Insurance Agency was recognized as the Chamber-of-Commerce's Business of The Month. Located at 454 Main Street in Wellsville, Mills Insurance was founded in 1959 by Jack and Lila Mills. In a 2003 merger they became part of the Mega Ins. Group.
Mega was established in 1994 and has offices in East Liverpool and Lisbon in addition to Mills. They provide insurance to over 4,500 individuals & families and 950 businesses. They offer a full line of insurance services.
Their web site says they are an independent insurance agency representing several insurance companies. Being independent allows them to work for the customer offering the best in insurance representation possible. They are large enough to serve yet small enough to care.
The Wellsville office is staffed by Elkins, who also handles all Personal Lines, and Shelly Abdalla who works on claims.

I hope someone from the Chamber is reading this blog. I am wondering why Mr. Nemenz, from Save-a-Lot, has never received the business of the month. He is a Chamber member, and I am sure you remember, donated many great items for your fundraising auction. Then spent over $1,000 dollars himself at the auction. Can a chamber official explain why Mr. Nemenz has been overlooked? Not that others are not deserving, but as a relatively new member, who did a great thing and is investing more money in the community, I feel it would be proper to award him business of the month.
good point...have you asked the chamber this question? it would be a legitimate one, if you actually want an answer. This is probably not the person to ask.
