As promised the missus & I got out earlier this afternoon. That was after cleaning a mountain of snow off the car and digging ourselves out of our parking spot. As the guy on Channel 9 said it is a heavy snow. We were beginning to wonder if cement wasn't lighter in weight. We'll sleep good tonight!We traversed pretty much from one end of town to the other. We'll let the pictures speak for themselves. With what we saw we stayed in town. In some places we were leery of trying to turn around and instead went around the block to get back to one location or another that we thought would make a decent picture.
The weather man was true to his word. By mid-afternoon the sky cleared and the sun came out. It was beautiful. Did we ever tell you how much we like snow? :-)

It was or still is a beautiful snow until you have to shovel the stuff. I hear that more is coming on Tues. Thank goodness not too many of us lost power. To Connie and Ed : you missed a good one !
