Last Friday evening was the crowning of the Queen for the Wellsville High School 2010 Fall Homecoming. There were six candidates for Queen this year. As befitting royalty the candidates were led into the stadium behind the WHS Marching Band as they road on the back of convertibles.
The candidates this year were Shannon Davis, Anna Drago, Katie Hardman, Leah Kelly, Carli Russell and Marissa Reynolds. The candidates were escorted by their fathers.
Crowning ceremonies took place at half-time with 2009 Fall Homecoming Queen Krislyn Dalrymple handing over her crown to this year's Queen. Krislyn is a first year nursing student at KSU-East Liverpool.
