The Daw Middle School 7th Grade Volleyball Team remains undefeated going into the last week of the regular schedule. Last Wedenesday, October 5, they improved their season record to 14&0 defeating Crestview 2-0. The 7th graders are the only Wellsville School District team that remains undefeated in all the Fall Sports teams from Middle School through High School.
The 8th Grade Team fell to 9&4 on the season dropping their match against Crestview 2-0.
The Daw ladies wrap up the reagular season this week. Tonight they host Leetonia at home in Beacom Memorial. On Wednesday, October 12, they travel to Crestview for their last regular season game.
The Middle School Volleyball Tournaments will be played in Wellsville again this year. All matches will be played at Beacom Memorial with the first one scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM on Monday, October 17. Beacom Memorial is located on Center St. Other match-ups will be played Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday also beginning at 4:30 PM. Championship and consolation matches will be played Saturday, October 22, beginning at 10 AM. We'll try to pick up the brackets today.
