Last Thursday the Daw Middle School Football Team took it on the ear at the hands of McDonald. They never quit inspite of trailing by 22 points at half-time. They came back in the second half to put 20 points on the board. The final score was McDonald 38-20.
The loss dropped Wellsville's Daw team to a record of 4&2 for the year with two games remaining on the schedule. Wellsville looks to get back on the winning track this coming Thursday, October 13, when they host Western Reserve at Nicholson Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 5 PM.
Wellsville wraps up the 2011 season on the road at Leetonia on October 20.
