Here are the mayors that the game was named for. It's quite evident that the ville's Joe Surace doesn't use the stuff but one has to wonder if EL's Jim Swogger doesn't use a touch of Grecian Formula 44! Of course being an member of ELHS Class of '70 Jim was one of the younger ones on the roster.
Pictured here is EL Oldie Rick Steffen saying politicians always have their hands in his pockets. Must be true. We caught them in the act with Jim Swogger on the left and Joe Surace on the right both digging deep!
Things were going pretty good when the mayors got in a tussle for the ball. Neither one wanted to give up possession. Shouldn't that be a jump ball?
With Skip playing the song "Why Can't We Be Friends?" the last picture is the two dancing & skipping arm-in-arm across the floor.
From what I saw of their ball playing and dancing talents they better keep their day jobs!

WOW ! What a success this event turned out to be. Great crowd and plenty of laughs for everyone. The event was very well organized and worth the price of admission. Kudos to all involved.
